21 October 2020 - Domestic delays in Victoria
We are aware that customers in Victoria are currently experiencing delays in receiving deliveries due to the impacts of operational restrictions and increased volume within Australia Post. Please allow an additional 10 business days for delivery of both express post and regular post parcels.
11 May 2020 - Update from Australia Post - Domestic and International delivery delays
Australia Post is experiencing international delivery delays in all destinations due to limited airline capacity and government restrictions as a result of COVID-19. Australia Post is working with partner airlines and other postal operators to move items as quickly as possible and clear backlog.
Express post within Australia - Australia Post have temporarily suspended their 'next business day' guarantee for all articles within Australia. Express post is still the fastest shipping option offered at this time.
3 April 2020 - Notice from Australia Post - International delivery delays
Impact of novel coronavirus
From this week Australia Post expects major international delivery delays due to flight cancellations and government restrictions because of COVID-19. Australia Post is working with partner airlines and other postal operators to move items as quickly as possible.
Please note Australia Post will suspend its “Economy Air” international delivery service for parcels to all countries effective 3 April and until further notice.
